Personalised nutrition, delivered

Customers build their own bowl and watch the calories and macros update live, then order once or subscribe to a weekly plan. Loyalty, favourites and live delivery tracking are all built in.

Monk's Salad is a direct-to-consumer health platform where users build their own bowls, browse curated chef-designed salads, or subscribe to a personalised diet plan. The plan engine generates daily meals based on the user's height, weight, activity level and goals, with deliveries scheduled to their preferred slots. The full ordering, subscription, address management and rider tracking flow is mobile-native.
Monk's Salad, a healthy-eating QSR with growing repeat customer demand, was losing orders to delivery aggregators that took 30% margin and gave them zero customer data. They wanted their own ordering channel — with loyalty, subscriptions and the kind of food-tracking content their nutrition-aware customers actually engaged with.
We built a React Native consumer app (iOS + Android) and a kitchen-display web app. The consumer app handles menu browsing with macro-nutrient breakdowns, recurring subscriptions for weekly meal plans, loyalty points, push-driven offers, and tipped delivery via integrated rider partners.
Backend: Node + Postgres, Redis for menu caching, Stripe + Razorpay for payments, FCM for push, and a recommendation engine that surfaces dishes based on the customer's saved macros and previous orders.
Monk's Salad now runs its own ordering channel — capturing margin previously lost to aggregators and owning the customer relationship directly. Subscriptions give the kitchen predictable weekly demand, and the loyalty and referral flows keep regulars coming back.
Monk's Salad is a mobile app (iOS and Android) for ordering custom salads and subscribing to weekly meal plans personalised to your height, weight and health goals, with macro-nutrient breakdowns on every dish.
Monk's Salad is live on both the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), built with React Native so both platforms stay in sync.
Customers choose a weekly plan and the app schedules recurring orders, so the kitchen gets predictable demand and customers get their meals without re-ordering each time. Plans can be paused or changed anytime.
