Barcode member cards, points & rewards for a pharmacy

Counter staff scan a customer's barcode card to pull up their profile, points and rewards — and access closes again the moment the checkout ends. Admins configure reward tiers, generate printable member cards, manage inventory and review a tamper-evident audit log of every action.

A Roy Pharmacy Loyalty Console is a privacy-first loyalty and rewards platform built for A Roy Pharmacy — Vadodara's oldest and largest pharmacy, serving the city since 1926 — which wanted to reward its regular customers without ever putting their data at risk. The software generates printable barcode member cards, issues them to loyal customers, and maps each card to the customer's points, reward tiers and purchase history. Counter staff can only pull up a customer after the customer physically scans their card — and access is revoked again the moment a checkout completes. Every data export is password-protected with a key held only by the pharmacy owner. Reward tiers are fully configurable — from percentage discounts to milestone perks such as a free health check-up after a points threshold — alongside inventory management, life-saving medicine refill reminders (diabetes, blood pressure and more), and a tamper-evident audit trail of every action.
A Roy Pharmacy — Vadodara's oldest and largest pharmacy, serving the city since 1926 — wanted to reward its most loyal customers with a proper points-and-rewards programme — the kind big chains run — but on a pharmacy counter, where the customer list is deeply sensitive. Names, phone numbers, ages and medical purchases are exactly the data that must never leak, and off-the-shelf loyalty tools gave every staff member open access to the whole customer database.
The owner also wanted physical membership cards customers could carry, a way to configure rewards themselves, and reminders that nudge patients to refill life-saving medication — all without hiring a developer to run it.
We built a loyalty console with privacy designed in from the first screen. Each customer is issued a printable barcode member card, generated in batches from the console. At the counter, a staff member cannot open a customer record until the customer physically scans their card — consent is the key that unlocks the data. The moment a checkout completes, that record locks again, so a staff member can never browse the customer base at will.
Reward tiers are fully configurable by the owner: flat or percentage discounts, and milestone perks like a free health check-up at a partner lab once a customer crosses a points threshold. Every data export is encrypted behind a password that only the owner sets. On top of the loyalty engine we added inventory management, refill reminders for chronic-care medicines (diabetes, blood pressure and similar), and a tamper-evident audit log that records every action and who took it.
A Roy Pharmacy now runs a real loyalty programme without ever exposing customer data — access happens only with the customer present and consenting. The owner controls rewards and exports directly, refill reminders help patients stay on critical medication, and the audit trail means nothing happens on the console without a record. It's loyalty software built the way a pharmacy actually needs it: rewarding, but private by default.
For a pharmacy that has earned Vadodara's trust across a century — serving the city since 1926 — protecting that relationship mattered more than any single feature. This software was built to honour it.
Each loyal customer is issued a printable membership card with a barcode on the back. The barcode links to their profile, points and reward tiers. Staff scan the card at the counter to award or redeem points, and every purchase updates the balance automatically.

Access is consent-based: staff can only open a customer record after the customer scans their card, and the record locks again the moment the checkout ends. Data exports are encrypted behind a password set only by the pharmacy owner, and a tamper-evident audit log records every action.
Yes. The system sends refill reminders for chronic-care and life-saving medicines (diabetes, blood pressure and similar), helping patients stay on their medication and bringing them back to the pharmacy.
